Our Registered Manager recently proved this by making a client&#8217;s St. Patrick&#8217;s Day wish come true \u2013 that&#8217;s selfless service at its best!<\/p>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"7:1-7:44\"><strong>A Day for Celebration: St. Patrick&#8217;s Day<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"9:1-9:246\">The vibrant energy of St. Patrick&#8217;s Day was in full swing here in Birmingham! This annual celebration honours the patron saint of Ireland. But did you know that St. Patrick&#8217;s Day holds a rich history beyond just wearing green and enjoying a pint?<\/p>\n<ul data-sourcepos=\"11:1-13:0\">\n<li data-sourcepos=\"11:1-11:258\"><strong>Who was St. Patrick?<\/strong>\u00a0Saint Patrick was a Romano-British Christian missionary who lived in the 5th century. Captured by Irish raiders as a teen, he was taken to Ireland. After escaping, he returned to Ireland years later to spread the Christian faith.<\/li>\n<li data-sourcepos=\"12:1-13:0\"><strong>The First Parade:<\/strong>\u00a0Surprisingly, the first St. Patrick&#8217;s Day parade didn&#8217;t happen in Ireland! Irish soldiers serving with the British Army in New York City held the first parade in 1762. Ireland didn&#8217;t join the festivities for another two centuries.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"14:1-14:26\"><strong>A Special Wish Granted<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"16:1-16:399\">One of our clients, has always dreamed of experiencing the lively atmosphere of a St. Patrick&#8217;s Day parade.
